Seychelles Gets Green Listed by Abu Dhabi

There is good news for Abu Dhabi residents who wish to get married in Seychelles. Because of COVID-19, Abu Dhabi has put Seychelles on a no-fly list. Abu Dhabi residents were unable to marry in Seychelles. This, however, is no longer the case. Continue reading to learn how to travel between Abu Dhabi and Seychelles without having to pass through quarantine as Seychelles gets green listed.

How to Travel Between Seychelles and Abu Dhabi?

The capital of the UAE (United Arab Emirates), Abu Dhabi, has reopened its international flights. While both residents and visitors are allowed to visit Abu Dhabi, there are now stringent security measures in place, such as PCR tests and quarantine. However, because of the COVID-19 vaccination, you may now travel between these two places without having to go through quarantine.

You won’t have to go through quarantine if you come to Abu Dhabi from a nation on the green list. The list of green countries, regions, and territories that are now allowed to visit Abu Dhabi now also includes Seychelles.

Entry Requirements in Abu Dhabi

Only UAE residents and nationals with a valid residence visa, as well as those who qualify for a visa on arrival, can enter the UAE through Abu Dhabi’s airports. All other visas have been put on hold. If you are traveling to Abu Dhabi, you must adhere to these additional limitations.

  • Within 48 hours of departure, you must produce either a negative DPI test result or a negative PCR test result.
  • Download the ALHOSN UAE app on your smartphone before traveling to Abu Dhabi.
  • You will be subjected to a COVID-19 PCR test and heat screening upon arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport.

Requirements If You Are Vaccinated

If you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are traveling between Abu Dhabi and Seychelles, you will not be needed to quarantine. Keep in mind that the last dosage must have been administered at least 28 days before departure.
