When you want to get married in Georgia, you will need your passport, passport translation and notarization, and two witnesses. These are the only requirements for getting married in Georgia.

Whenever you meet all of them, you need to physically go to Georgia and make an appointment at the public service hall in Tbilisi or in some other city. The registration will only require signing the documents.

If you don’t feel like doing it on your own and would rather have somebody helping you, you can always opt for our fastest and easiest package or the custom one, personalized and adjusted to your unique needs.

When this is done you are officially a couple and congratulations. However, this will not be enough if you need to get a wedding certificate that is recognized in your country.

2. Register your wedding certificate after getting married in Georgia if you live in GCC

To make this happen, you will have to translate it, register it at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and validate it at your embassy.

So please make sure to contact your embassy if you have any questions. Some countries have different legislation when it comes to recognizing the wedding certificate. It could be also helpful to check our legal checklist to know what to expect.
